American Newlong Office – Commercial Painting

When American Newlong purchased their new office building in Mooresville, Indiana, they needed a reliable partner to transform the space before moving in their supplies. The 16,200-square-foot property presented several challenges: the office walls required patching and painting, the warehouse had significant damage along the lower walls, and the restrooms were marred by unsightly water stains. Indiana Painting Company stepped in to deliver a comprehensive solution that would have the building looking professional and move-in ready in just two weeks.

Our team of four to five skilled painters began by patching all the walls and using electric sanders to strip away years of texture buildup from previous paint jobs. Once the surfaces were properly prepared, we primed and painted the office walls and door frames using PPG Ultralast, a premium product chosen for its superior scuff resistance and washability. The result was a clean, durable finish built to withstand the daily demands of a busy office environment.

The warehouse and restrooms called for specialized attention. In the warehouse, we taped a crisp, clean line along the bottom eight feet of the walls and color-matched the lower section to the upper walls, achieving a seamless transition that erased all signs of the previous damage. For the restrooms, we applied an oil-based, stain-blocking primer to lock in water stains, then finished with two coats of PPG Pitt-Glaze Pre-Catalyzed Epoxy to create a sterile, water-resistant surface that holds up better against moisture than ever.

By the end of the two-week project, the transformation was complete. The office walls looked brand new, the restroom water stains had vanished entirely, and the warehouse damage was gone with the lower and upper walls blending flawlessly.
