Citizens Bank – Commercial Painting

In December 2023, Indiana Painting Company took on the complete interior and exterior renovation of Citizens Bank in Plainfield, Indiana. The client approached us with a clear vision: to modernize their dated bank branch and breathe new life into a building that still carried the look of its 1970s origins. Working across 4,500 square feet, our team set out to deliver a finish that was both visually striking and built to last.

For the exterior, we focused on transforming the aging brickwork without hiding its natural character. After thoroughly cleaning the surface, we applied Romabio Masonry Flat to create a specialty opaque limewash finish. This mineral coating not only softened and refreshed the appearance of the original brick, but also provided an exceptionally durable, long-lasting result that looks far more natural than conventional paint. As part of this work, we also completed CMU repair and restoration, ensuring the structure was sound and ready for its new finish.

Inside, our team painted the freshly renovated walls and ceilings using premium products selected for performance and longevity. We relied on Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 for the walls and Pro Industrial Waterborne Urethane for high-traffic surfaces, giving the branch a clean, modern, and resilient finish suited to the demands of a busy banking environment. Every detail was handled with the precision and care that defines our approach to commercial projects.

Despite the scope of the work, our two-person crew completed the entire project in just ten days, staying firmly within budget while exceeding the client’s expectations. The finished result is a refreshed, contemporary bank branch that honors the building’s original charm while positioning it confidently for the future—a testament to our expertise in both traditional and specialized painting techniques.
