Emmanuel Church – Banta Campus – Painting

The Challenge & Our Solution

When the team at Emmanuel Church – Banta Campus reached out, their restrooms needed serious attention. Years of regular use had left the walls scuffed, scratched, and marred by stubborn water stains. The space, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, no longer reflected the welcoming environment the congregation valued, and the church wanted a refresh to restore both the look and the longevity of the restrooms.

Our approach began with addressing the underlying damage rather than simply painting over it. We applied a clear sealer to stabilize the substrate, then carefully patched the damaged drywall to create a smooth, even surface. To tackle the persistent water stains, we relied on Kilz Odorless Oil-Based Stain Blocking Primer, locking in the discoloration so it wouldn’t bleed through the fresh finish coats. This attention to preparation set the foundation for a result that would hold up over time.

To complete the transformation, we applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Interior Satin, a premium paint chosen for its superior durability, scuff resistance, washability, and clean appearance. With a focused team of two, we completed the entire project across roughly 2,000 to 3,000 square feet in just two days, minimizing disruption to the church’s daily activities while maintaining the highest standard of workmanship.

The finished restrooms looked clean, fresh, and as polished as the day they were first built. The water stains were gone, the drywall damage erased, and the walls left with a smooth, professional finish. This project reflects our commitment to delivering efficient, high-quality commercial painting solutions that stand the test of time.
