How we work
Our team begins every professional restaurant painting project by walking you through our proven process.
Step 1
We evaluate your restaurant surfaces and establish secure work zones. Our crew installs protective barriers around dining furniture, kitchen equipment, and high-traffic areas while setting up proper equipment and ensuring minimal disruption to your service operations.
Step 2
We clean all surfaces, fill holes and cracks, and sand rough areas to create a smooth foundation. All surfaces receive proper priming to ensure maximum paint adhesion and a flawless finish that withstands the demands of a restaurant environment.
Step 3
Using commercial-grade equipment and low-VOC paints safe for food service environments, we apply multiple coats for optimal coverage and long-lasting results. Our team works efficiently around your operating hours to minimize disruption to your restaurant service.
Step 4
We remove all equipment and protective materials, dispose of debris responsibly, and conduct a comprehensive walkthrough with you to ensure the project meets our high standards and transforms your restaurant exactly as envisioned.
Experience matters
If you’re considering hiring a painter for your restaurant interior, make sure you call a professional. A professional painter brings the right tools and expertise to transform your dining spaces properly while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere your customers expect.
Commercial painting companies with proven track records understand how to safeguard your restaurant operations, kitchen equipment, dining areas, and staff against disruptions that can result from working with less experienced contractors.
Beyond experience, ensure your commercial painter carries proper insurance and follows established procedures to protect your restaurant investment. With over 20 years of experience, Indiana Painting works diligently at your side to protect your interests and investment for years to come.
Services
Our Process Explained
Restaurants & bars
A restaurant’s walls work harder than most. Grease, steam, chair backs and constant cleaning wear finishes down fast, and your dining room has to look right for every service. We’ve painted dining rooms, bars, patios and exteriors for restaurants across Central Indiana, from local favorites to national chains.
We plan painting for closed days, overnight hours or between services, and we return every area cleaned and ready to open. Low- and zero-VOC paints keep odor down, and when smell is a concern we can also bring in activated-carbon air scrubbers.
Dining rooms need washable finishes that still look warm under your lighting. Back-of-house areas that get scrubbed with harsh cleaners may call for waterborne epoxy systems such as PPG Aquapon or Sherwin-Williams Waterbased Catalyzed Epoxy. Outside, wood structures and canopies need the right stain to stay protected, like the cedar canopy we stained for Cava in Indianapolis.
Our restaurant work includes Tony’s Steak and Seafood and Second Helpings in downtown Indianapolis, Tucci’s, the 1933 Lounge, HC Grill, Wings Etc. at Heartland Crossing, Tipsy Mermaid, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Sweetgreen and several Starbucks locations, plus the Delta Faucet cafe in Carmel.
Every technician passes a background check and drug screen and is re-screened every year. Our crews keep work areas contained and clean up thoroughly, so your team walks into a dining room that’s ready for guests.
