Churches are more than buildings, and painting one is different from painting an office. Sanctuaries have high ceilings and detailed trim, fellowship halls and classrooms see heavy weekday use, and the calendar is full of services, weddings, funerals and youth events. We plan around all of it.
Working around your ministry calendar
We schedule work between services and events, keep the sanctuary ready for Sunday, and coordinate with your facilities team or trustees on what needs to happen first. Non-profit congregations may qualify for our 20% “Mooresvillian” discount on select work; call the office and ask for Bob for details.
Recent church projects
At Emmanuel Church – Stones Crossing in Greenwood, we refreshed the exterior colors of the church house, youth building and parsonage and repaired interior drywall. At Emmanuel Church’s Banta campus in Indianapolis, we restored scuffed, water-stained restroom walls. For Main Street Vineyard Church in Plainfield, we painted a modern color scheme across the 4,000 sq ft stage area. In Monrovia, we painted the town’s first town hall, housed in the restored former Methodist church building.
Protecting historic and sacred spaces
Older church buildings often have original wood, plaster and masonry that need careful preparation and the right products. We choose coatings that protect the building while respecting its character, and we protect pews, altars, instruments and fixtures throughout the job.
What we paint on church campuses
Sanctuaries and narthexes, fellowship halls, classrooms and nurseries, youth buildings, gyms, restrooms, offices, parsonages and exteriors. In nurseries and children’s areas we favor zero-VOC paints such as PPG Pure Performance or Benjamin Moore Natura, while busy hallways and gyms get scuff-resistant finishes that are easy to clean. Exterior work on wood trim, siding and masonry is planned around the weather and your calendar, so equipment stays out of the way of weddings and special services.
Phasing work to fit your budget
Not every congregation can tackle the whole campus at once. We can help you prioritize the areas that need attention first, phase the rest across budget cycles, or keep high-traffic spaces fresh with our Commercial Maintenance Painting Plan.
Serving congregations across Central Indiana
Based on Main Street in Mooresville, we paint churches throughout the region, including Greenwood, Plainfield, Indianapolis, Avon and Martinsville. Every project starts with a walkthrough with your pastor, facilities lead or trustees so we understand which spaces matter most, which events we need to work around and how your building is used during the week. You’ll get a clear written quote, and we’ll walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
