Introduction
The Team Leader position is a key role at Indiana Painting. You are the “tip of the spear” when it comes to serving our customers. Your quality of service, friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and professionalism go a long way in making a memorable company in the eyes of our clients. The Team Leader represents the future leadership of Indiana Painting’s Production Department. Team Leaders who show a willingness to learn new things and effectively put them into practice have an excellent opportunity to pursue a greater role with Indiana Painting.
Customer Relations

Ensure that the customer is extremely pleased with the experience.

Initiate excellent communication with the customer before, during, and after the service appointment.

Ensure that all team members behave in a way that increases the customer’s confidence and comfort level.

The Team Leader is responsible for ongoing field training of team member’s under his/her care:
-
Training in over-the-top customer service.

Training in efficient field operations.
-
Training in personal accountability and a team-first approach to everything we do.
Production
-
Ensure that any lost or left-behind equipment is accounted for, reported to management, and retrieved in a timely manner where possible.

Ensure that all Indiana Painting standard operating procedures are followed to the letter.

Work with the Project Consultant and/or Production Manager to complete the Vehicle Loadout Checklist and the Vehicle Appearance Checklist as scheduled.

Communicate with the Project Consultant regarding schedule and job updates, customer communication, and any other relevant information.
Management
-
Supervise the activity of assigned team members.

Master the use of various software for recording information, scheduling, and communication.

Assist in ongoing field training for all team members as directed

Observe Team’s performance in the field

Sign off on achievements as part of the Indiana Painting’s 5-Star Certification Program.

Most importantly, the Team Leader must be able to care for our customers in an exceptional way at all times, regardless of circumstances. Balancing high production with excellent customer service is the ultimate goal of the Team Leader.
